REPUJADO

I am now doing Repujado which is the process of working with a sheet of metal and turning it into a base relief. I use aluminum and copper. It is an old Spanish and French technique. I use my fingers and a few small tools to do the work, which is time consuming. I then fill the back with resin to hold the shape before I mount and frame them.

The sizes are roughly 13.5" on a side
